My ninjette has changed!

I know it its far from a perfect job, I'm not good with details, but I'm currently happy with my bike, had the tank painted by a pro, and I trimmed and painted the fairings and front fender with bed liner, trimmed the rear fender, and installed the led bars and led tail light along with resistors so the blinkers blink.... painted the exhausts with high temp paint, and well It looks better to me

What it looked like before.

What it looks like now.

The smaller led bar seems to work better for normal riding, the larger one seems more apt for off-road use.

Tail, break, turn signals and license plate light.

What lights are those? How do you like the output? I think I've seen those lights for scooters.

I think I like the output on the smaller one better than the larger one. It seems better than what I had with the OEM headlight and it's not too blinding for oncoming traffic. The larger one although supposedly a spot light is broader and more blinding therefore I'm not sure I'll really use it, but I like how it looks on the bike...

The smaller on is this one:

The larger one is this one:

I have no way of measuring lumens but it is quite bright and dispersed so I'm not sure if I'll use it.

I can't even begin to imagine why you did that
The pregen is such a beautiful neat little sports bike it just needed a bit of tidying to be really sweet, now it looks like a train wreck.

Oh man, I wasn't really against the looks of it but it wasn't my thing, on the other hand it feels lighter, I was able to load it onto my pickup truck with just the help of my petite wife (she helped me keep it vertical) without a ramp. So that felt good...

Yeah.

Been looking at aux lights for the bike and really want to light up way down the road. There are some that when combined and on high can give up to 1500 ft of usable light (over a quarter mile!).

But the price tag spikes along with the distance. Hurm

There's an old pregen with 26k miles guy said the bike is running but the engine is on it's way.. he priced it at $300. I've contemplated buying it just to play around on, since it's so cheap.

Do it thats what I did and I'm loving the idea of all the work and things. depending on what is wrong with it it could be a really small issue like a vlave adjustment, otherwise you could find a motor in the 400-600 range swap it and have a decent bike for 700-900 bucks and a few hours of work.

Money is just a tad too tight, but I was willing to buy it but the guy took it of CL so it's safe to say it's gone.

um.. well, I'm glad YOU like it, OP.

Personally, I think that color blue Pregen was one of the best looking "classic" sportbikes ever built or painted.

Actually, at first, before I scrolled down, I thought your BEFORE was in fact the AFTER, and that you had painted it blue from some other color.
