Hello From The Great NW
I too am new here and to the mighty 250, but not to Kawasaki's in general. I just sold my '00 ZZR 600 3 months ago for a brand spankin' new Ninja 250R. What a trade it was! Instead of 45 mpg on my 600 or 18 in my Nissan Titan I now get a whopping 67 mpg.
I purchased it almost exactly 3 months ago and it grew legs and walked off a month ago just as I hit the 2000 mile mark. Got it back tho. Dummies must have followed me home from work because once they figured out it wasn't very fast off the line and less than 100 miles later (exactly 1 week) my Mgr at work walked right up to it while it was parked on the side of the street not 30 yards away from our building. I was lucky. God was watching out for me. Anyway, shes in the shop and I should have it back in the next two weeks or so better than new, aftermarket parts and all. I was reading here a lot before it was stolen and now that I've got it back I'll be reading more and probably asking for a lot of help/ From my reading adventures everyone here seems very nice and helpful. Even though I have almost 18 yrs riding experience, I am no mechanic. Thanks for allowing me to be here. |

Hi Chaos and welcome, sorry to hear about your bike, I have been worried about when we go out if someone would take my bike. I am from a big city and things like that make me more aware than a lot of the rural country folks here. Some people still don't lock their doors (home or cars) - believe it or not and they are comfortable with that.
