New Rider From SC
Greetings Ninjette riders!
I just purchased my first bike and it happens to be a 2003 Ninja 250r with 9000 miles on the odometer. I found the bike on craigslist for $500 and jumped on it. I met with the seller and looked the bike over. It is pretty beat up, but it cranked on the first try cold. The fairings are almost all cracked and the side markers have also taken a beating. The engine runs, but sounds like it needs a valve adjustment or a timing chain. The carburetors also need a good going through. Overall, I believe it will make a fine steed with a little tlc thrown at it. Also, is there a proper place for a build thread or something similar? Thanks guys.
