Sup! From Austin, TX

Hey guys and gals! Name is George, originally from El Paso, TX, moved to Austin in '10 for college. I recently picked up my first ever bike, a sweet '12 ninjette in my fav color, red! I've put 350 miles so far and I'm dying cause i can't ride much :-( too cold here and I only got me my summer mesh gear!

Good part in no riding, I can install a bunch of custom parts! Here's a list In order of how I got my parts: two bros carbon fiber black series exhaust, k&n filter, t-rex frame sliders, t-rex exhaust slider, carbon fiber integrated led turn signal mirrors (I run them as running lights though), and as of 20 mins ago, just ordered an led brake/turn light for the rear. So I'm trying to keep occupied while I wait for warmer weather.

Well I think that's all I got today.
Thanks to everyone for making this site what it is!

Ya I heard it snowed a couple days ago! Man, I do miss home and family sometimes. The cold doesn't bother me none, I just don't have winter gear!

Hey, do you actually ride from SA all the way to EP?!?

Welcome! I dread riding I-10. Even if you're on a SS, it just plain sucks. On a goldwing, different story, maybe.

I've actually had the thought cross my mind to go home one day with Roxy (that's my ninjette by the way ) but something tells me I'm not gonna be comfortable holding 85mph for that almost 600 mile trip! Correct me if i'm wrong, I just don't think its good for such a little engine to hold high rpm's for that long

No, won't ever go that long. That's what the trailer is for...lol.

The most I have gone is from SA to Belton, and legs couldn't take it anymore.
