Smile Bay Area Female Rider!

Hey Guys,

I'm a new female rider out here in the Bay Area. Learned on a 600, but picked up a 2008 Ninja 250R because I was soooo anxious to have my own bike and I was too broke to pick up a 600. Just got my bike about 2 weeks ago. In the process of modding it up. My bike is painted silver so I wanna give it the 2007 ZX-6R Special Edition look with the red rims. Just got the paint in the mail from Color Rite and can't wait to get it done this weekend! Just picked up a set of Pirelli Sport Demons yesterday (is anyone riding these? are they better than the BT-45's?) Also in the process of picking up a MGP Growler Exhaust

I'm open to any tips/comments/suggestions!

Congrats on the bike...glad you didn't kill yourself learning on a 600.

"Also in the process of picking up a MGP Growler Exhaust"

DON'T DO IT. Worst sounding exhaust ever.

Seriously? I liked the way it sounded on some videos on youtube. I heard it's super loud and has a deep roar?

if you like the sound go for it, but more often than not people resell those quick for not liking the noise after a couple rides.

It doesn't have a deep "roar", it has a deep annoyance, and it's loud enough to still hear a mile down the road. My neighbor has one, it sounds absolutely retarded. To each their own though.

Any suggestions on an exhaust that will have a deep roar? I was checking out the M4 exhaust earlier, I like it.

I have a Danmoto Jisu, it's pretty deep, it's loud, but not near as loud as the Growler, plus it's way cheaper.

I uploaded a couple of vids:

Im rather pleased with the Leo Vince that came on my bike in both appearance and sound. Ill admit I run the quitest insert while on the street because the open insert is a lot louder and make me want to short shift it will riding the canyons. Open insert goes back on for the race track. I'd suggest riding with a few others and listening to their bikes before make a purchase you may regret. If your ever in the east bay your more then welcome to stop by and check mine out.

Welcome!
I was gonna go with the leo vince, but ended up getting the jisu because of price. Watch out tho, there have been issues with them such as paint fading and parts melting. There are a couple threads on them. My paint changed to a brownish orange. I got a small refund to cover the cost of having it fixed but ended up pocketing it and just repainting it cheap.

Have you ever had sex while skydiving?

Well its nothing like that, its more like riding a bicycle really fast.
