Hi guys,

I recently picked up 2 ninja's from the insurance auctions (ones a stat-write off due to a couple of scratches on the frame and a buckle in a rim and a repairable write-off with a bent rear subframe section). I'm doing these up to race in the Australian Production 250 class.

Any helpful info would be appreciated.

Does anyone know if there are any different weight shock springs for the rear? cheers

Edit: here is a pic of the two bikes behind my celica, was a bit slow to pull up thats for sure!

Hey Mitch!

Thats awesome mate, I've actually been really interested in the 250 class and have been trying to follow it. Shame I'm still learning, but its a great idea.

There is so much info on here and stuff that isnt even close to coming to Aus, so Im sure you'll find what your after mate!

Am I correct in saying that the SE model's only difference is paint?

2012 base model is only available in red or black

2012 se slightly different green than normal kawasaki green
with the decals, wheel stripes, tank protector, *white dials.

*i have been told they are white dials by the dealer, ill believe it when i see it

One of my 2010's has white dials (manufactured in November-10) and the other one has black dials (july-10). but both were standard black models

Yeah the newer models have white, older black. I think it swapped over in 2009-2010.

Awesome, thanks for your help, i've had a search but couldn't find a thread comparing all models of rearset, anyone know of one?
