Rear brake is hard to push back

Hi! Im changing my Rear brake pads now, but i cant push the 2 rear cylinders 100% back, they stick like 1,5mm out and that is enough to block the rear disc after i insert my new brake pads, any tips?

The pistons may be dirty and need to be cleaned; otherwise you are pushing grime in and through the seals.

How to clean those:

Yep, just give them a good cleaning and lube job like Motofool mentioned and they should operate a lot better as well as be easier to move! I find that using the flat tool with the rounded end is helpful when pushing them in since it's better to push them in simultaneously since one will push out a bit when you push the other in.

Also - some folks have reported that off-brand pads on eBay can be too thick to fit between the pistons and the disc when new. Which type did you go with?

I usually crack the bleeder first before compressing, keeps you from pushing back nasty old fluid throught the system. Pumpbrake and fillup on fluid before moving bik. Flush/Bleed system while at it ftw.
