Appalachians Mountains Ride - Blue Ridge Parkway

Well, since the mountains are behind my house, I got off work and rode for 40 miles up the Appalachians. Nice views. Too many to take pics of. Enjoy

that looks beautiful, where is it? and by that I mean where is the blue ridge parkway? I think it's near deals gap but I'm not sure

Blue Ridge Parkway stretches accross Asheville, NC.

It starts in Virginia where Skyline Drive ends, and continues 469 miles to Cherokee, NC. I rode all 469 miles of it earlier this year.

Yes, It was part of one of the greatest weeks of my life.

It took me about 2 1/2 days to complete.

It starts around Cherokee, NC and I usually stop in Asheville.

I'm about 2 hours from Skyline Drive in the Blue Ridge Mountains... I wanna go up there soon. Nice pictures and nice bike! Glad you had a good time

Canadian 2013 model. I put carbon fiber from the seat back (normally it's red).

Drove back through the Appalachians last week coming home from Prince Edward Island (Canadian route) and all I could think of the whole drive is that I wish I was doing it on my bike. Being 16 hours away from home not sure if I will ever get that chance. Appreciate what you have!! Great Pictures.
