Making a toddler's night

Last night I took my bike to work after having not ridden it in a couple months due to mechanical problems and the income of a college student. As I was leaving work at about 10:30 a little toddler was out on the balcony of the apartments behind the place I work. The balcony was surrounded by a baby gate to ensure nothing bad happened to the little dude. I started my motorcycle and he ran over to check out what the sound was. My bike was having a difficult time idling at first so I revved it a bit (not loud enough to really disturb anyone) so it wouldn't die. The kid got so excited he started jumping up and down and then ran inside to get his parents and show them my motorcycle. Night = made.

Sorry, there's not really a point to this post other than to show the little ways motorcycles bring joy to people.

I run to the window and jump up and down in excitement when I hear a bike start up too.

My wife thinks I'm strange.

I think she's right.

You'll be that kid's inspiration to get a bike when he's old enough
