New Rider from SF Bay Area

Hey guys, I'm a fairly new rider with a Ninja 300 from the Bay Area in California with about a month of experience. I've picked up the White SE ABS model. Hope to participate in meetups and group rides with those in the area!

Welcome. Nice picture of the bike and helmet, though I'm sure someone will cry about resizing it soon. You're a bit far north for me at the moment, but hey, there are tons of riders in your area. Be safe and have fun out there.

Hi Kyle, welcome ! I lived in Fremont for 12 years and worked there for 33. I'm in Livermore now. We've done some good group rides with the local Ninjetters and we look forward to meeting and riding with you.

Welcome to the forums!
If you are ever feeling zesty, I highly recommend taking a ride out to Tamales bay via bolinas (didn't used to have any speed limits and near zero traffic), or a breakfast run to the coast over mount Tamalpais. Both are just across the GG, and definitely a great experience for a newer rider.

Welcome to the site.

What's your level of experience? Have you ever ridden up and over Mt. Hamilton?

I only ask because I'll be head on through your area tomorrow on my way home and don't mind someone tagging along for a fun couple hours but the road is for riders who know how to handle their equipment.

I love that place, just about every other place have CHP hiding around somewhere. The view, the whole scenario looks great. Road construction finished a few months ago, so some areas are smoother.

Be careful, my friend got a ticket over there last week. He said there were 2 CHP's on bikes hiding somewhere.

I'm by no means an advanced or experienced rider, I've ridden a local Niles Canyon as well as Stinson Beach, Metacafe, and a couple other of canyons. still more to learn! Im one day late to the party but futurr reference for anyone else interested in riding, just PM me!
