New from Michigan

I just recently bought a 2004 Ninja 250 with 2400 miles on it. I love every second I spend on my bike! Its a lot of fun to go riding with my brother *honda owner* and now my dad (harley owner).

. Make sure you have good tires on your bike as most people who buy bikes have no idea how old their tires are. Just because they have plenty of tread doesn't mean they're new. You can look at the dot number on your tire's side wall and look at the last 4 numbers. the first 2 numbers mean the week in the year and the last 2 is the year. Tires become hard as the oils seep out of the rubber and exposure to heat and sunlight causes them to dry rot.

Welcome! I just joined the site also. I think there is nothing better than riding with family. Although, I come from a Harley family so I'm always the odd one out.

You should have you, your brother and Dad come met up with us for our clubs monthly meeting this Sunday!

We are meeting up at the Shell gas station @ 10AM.
(corner of US23 exit #49 & North Territorial rd.)

We are then leaving as a 15-20 bike group, (I think 16 ppl are 100% said showing up this week) riding out to a fellow members House waaay out in Mason, Mi. area. We are having our club meeting at his house this time!

You 3 are more than welcome to join us. Most of us are 30,40 somethings, plus other diverse age ranges!
We are mostly a Sport bike rider, but 3 of our members also have HD's. All bikes and ages welcome!!!
