I take peektures!

So, I'm really new to the photography scene. I just bought a canon T4i tuesday and have been using it every day sense. I wanted to share some of my favorite photos. Alex, if you decide these belong in a better spot, go ahead and move them.

Many of these photos are from blanchard park. Who ever is in orlando may recognize them!

You can see I like sticking to a certain style when editing my pictures. I'd really enjoy some tips if anyone would like to jump in. Thanks for looking.

The pictures look overexposed and unnatural. Not bad though, I specifically like the 4th picture up from the bottom.

Exactly this. You have a good eye for framing but the processing is too instagramesque.

Can you post the unedited versions...

I think you have a good eye but I'd like to see what they look like before the filter and instagram look is applied lol

also, check out http://photography-on-the.net/forum/ it's a really good forum with a ton of great info and they offer really good critique as well. Oh and it's mostly Canon so that's a plus

I like your pics though, like I said, you have a good eye, I'm just not particularly fond of the instagram look on a lot of pictures and I prefer to see what they look unedited

also^2, check out the book "understanding exposure", it's like the bible to learn from and I really encourage you read it once, twice, three times, and then read it again. Once you get that your pictures will start looking amazing without touching them up. And the last bit of advice I give every one is to understand the rule of thirds and start shooting pictures that way. Get away from the snapshot looking pics and take your time setting up and framing shots.

Best advice I can give you is to set the quality to RAW. Shooting in RAW means that you can do as much editing as you want before saving it as a JPEG.

This is quite a decent shot, if you have a tripod & remote release you could do some interesting work there with the Tv (exposure time) set to BULB

+1 on the raw, especially if your wanna edit it later. If your equipment is good enough you can shoot to jpeg with no real noticeable loss of quality.

My daughter is in your spot right now. Here is a pic she took last night. No editing, straight out of the cam.

Good luck taking yours!

Another my daughter took that you might like. Again, right out of the cam without edit.
