My Ninja 250 racebike
Just bought this on Saturday. I have two track days on it so far it I am enjoying it.
I have had about every bike out there and ridden the ones I didn't own. Most recently I tested a KTM 390 and CBR 500 at the track to possibly buy. I liked the CBR500 more I think, the KTM I liked less than the Ninja 250 but it might have been that it didn't have rear sets on it. I got the Ninja for $1,500 and it won the production cup series here last year so it's set up well. I think it looks really cool also. My last bike was a Yamaha R6 and I had a Yamaha R1 at the same time but didn't ride it much. The R6 is an awesome machine and it's so fast and smooth. I loved the brakes too. The little Ninja is good for learning on, I want to learn to go really fast and hard on a slow bike. Here's a pic. It's stripped down to the bear minimum, and upgrades include Woodcraft clip ons, rear sets, gp shift, full exhaust system, motion pro throttle, hot bodies fairings, and a bunch of other stuff I am forgetting... Pirelli tires.
