Got the carbon GP the other day delivered from them to me (UK) in less than 6 days...

Sounds great throughout the rev-range - bit tinny at the top but what dya expect from a 250.

Dead light - 2kg - can put a removable baffle in it (bought separately from Danmoto) and pushes the power out differently:

Can do 40mph in first gear, just. Before could only reach 25-30.

More pokey and quicker throttle response in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.

Haven't taken it to top speed yet, due to my broken leg (I shouldnt be riding at all) but I'll try next week and comment on the top end performance.

http://www.dan-moto.com/ninja-zx-250...18_21_119.html

$80 on their website - not sure about shipping to all yous in the USA - check it out.

As for customer service - I can't flaw it. Note that the exhaust hanger holes are smaller than the original bolt to hang it, so I had to drill it out ever so slightly. In doing this (due to a fault of my own) wrapped the hanger around the drill and bent it to F**ck. I also lost my springs. I spoke to y'man Dan at Danmoto and he's already sent out some new ones free of charge - quick email response - etc etc.

Definitely a 10/10 product and a 10/10 company to deal with - the US manufacutrers may have some major competition here...

P.S. (SORRY FOR THE ESSAY!)

Christofesor,

Don't be sorry, for being long-winded... this is the best write-up we've yet seen on Danmoto. Thanks for sharing.

Well i looked around for videos and reviews and could barely find anything on them - in particular the 250. Plenty of sound clips of 600s and 1000s but nothing on the 250.

I though - ahh fekk it - for 50 odd quid (80 odd delivered) it's worth a try.

I'll post a video tomorrey morning.

It's not a high-end muffler, for sure. But might be a reasonable alternative, to some of the hack jobs, guys are coming up with.

Some of the WERA racers bought similar exhausts from China and they did not last very long.

Yeah, it's cheaper if you just buy it from the Danmoto website. The slip on in CF is $80 and in titanium it's $112. Shipping prices for me to Illinois is $36.

http://www.dan-moto.com/ninja-zx-250...f4p6qiapqfvf94

It's a good price IMHO and it's just your standard canister muffler. Easy to take apart and repack, replace the CF tube, etc. As a bonus they're not ripping anyone's designs off, and I've read nothing but good things about their service.

I bought mine from the Danmoto site but never got the removable
baffle ordered with it. And they don't respond to e-mail anymore.
So far for the good service.

If you buy, better do it via eB*y, at least you got some
protection. For me, last time I ordered directly from China.
