problem with ignition?

i am starting to notice that my engine isnt starting at the first push of the button. its now taking 2-3 pushes to get the engine to start up. also my oil and temp light stays on for 10-15 seconds after startup before turning off. maybe my carbs are dirty? i bought a can of seafoam and poured the entire thing into my gas tank. i hope that will help somewhat but maybe someone knows what exactly is causing these to happen.

How many miles on the bike?

It might just be time for a spark plug change

Might also make sure your battery's fully charged.

For what it's worth, they recommend using about a quarter or a third of the can of Seafoam with the volume of gas we have, so don't be surprised if this tank o' gas acts a little weird.

i would start with the easy stuff first
make sure the battery is charged
air filter is clean
spark plugs are changed, and gapped correctly

after that id consider maybe cleaning the carbs

i put too much oil in during my last oil change. rode it for a week until i noticed the oil level was a little over the line. then i drained some out and now the oil level is fine, its exactly at the full line. i started using shell rotella-t full synthetic. idle speed is at 1100-1200. i just filled the tank with 3.66gallons of 87 octane this morning. also, when riding for the first 5 minutes, the whole bike seems to vibrate as i open the throttle on the first few gears but thats probably due to the engine being cold.
