interesting take on the 250

http://www.fastbikesmag.com/2014/04/...aki-ninja-250/

I don't hate it entirely

edit:
bahahahaha I just saw the price of the kit

link to actual product website
http://31blk.com/

edit2:

"Brasse is offering this radical modification kit for the Kawasaki Ninja 250. The 31BLK is a ‘plug and play’ type, so no electric or mechanical modifications have to be carried out."

^ is it just me or do you have to chop off the *** end of the frame... no? I think that is mechanical mod or something not plug and play for sure though

edit3: Oh it just keeps getting better, just noticed the article is in "Fast Bikes Magazine"

Nt so sure on the look and yeah that tail is gone but I do like the mounting for the modified headlights.

Those would be neat aux lights for my night rides...

All that work and they left the stock bars in place?

Hate the lights.

And what are those stupid objects hanging off the front?

FAIL

It's cool and all, but no thank you. And... do those things hanging off the sides come in a shorter version? Because I would drag the crap outta them.

I don't think you can ride this on the highway. Wind would blow the bike all over the place.

Don't ride it in the rain. First the water would soak your back side down. Then the bag on your head would get soaked.

I think the rear pegs and the ugly thing up front are for the passenger. The site says there is a pillion seat stored at the front of the bike. The only thing i can see is the weird thing on the front...

I love the brawny nasty fairings and what not. just it is only something I would do to a wrecked bike.

I think that a flat black edgy fairings on the sides of a fighter are very trick and mean looking . even for an anemic sport whip.

It has this tough "modern industrial" kinda look to it that could be cool but just doesn't work here.

Sometimes, I don't know what people are thinking. There is so much more that they could have done, but didn't. Why? I will say, that it reminds me of the Magpul Ronin:

The first time I saw this I was inspired to try to make a 250 into something similar. I would still do a few things different, but I really like the overall look of this. The way I see it, if you are going for aggressive, make the thing aggressive!

I actually saw this bike in person at the motorcycle show in Toronto a few weeks back it was just sitting in a plain booth with no advertising or info on it at that time. There was a person quoting out prices for the kit if anyone had asked but at $1700 it wasn't getting that much attention. I was not really impressed with it and others around didn't seem to be as well. It had that junk bin special feel to it.

I ordered the 31BLK kit from Joshua Brasse. It’s going on 3 months and it has yet to be shipped. There are other people who’s complaining about his website Ideacious regarding orders. Hopefully I will either receive the product I ordered or get a full refund if Joshua Brasse is too busy and can’t fulfill my order. Through my dealings with him he seems like a stand up guy but has yet to come through.
