That is why I don't ride in groups. The idiot windmill was speeding into a cloud crashed out the other rider and lost his stupid tennis shoes. He will be fine I am sure

Amazing video shot !!.............however, sad.
The speed of the flying body was the speed at which the orange bike hit the trailer. Impacts that take shoes off are normally fatal; too much instantaneous deceleration for the body to stand. Copied from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G-force "Human tolerances (to g-force) depend on the magnitude of the g-force, the length of time it is applied, the direction it acts, the location of application, and the posture of the body. The human body is flexible and deformable, particularly the softer tissues. A hard slap on the face may briefly impose hundreds of g locally but not produce any real damage; a constant 16 g for a minute, however, may be deadly. When vibration is experienced, relatively low peak g levels can be severely damaging if they are at the resonance frequency of organs and connective tissues. To some degree, g-tolerance can be trainable, and there is also considerable variation in innate ability between individuals. In addition, some illnesses, particularly cardiovascular problems, reduce g-tolerance."

It says the dude broke his arm and keg. It was a glancing blow. The squid uniform is very loose fitting air Jordens.

I don't know I'v had my shoes fall off quite a few times skateboarding. People usually don't tie their shoes tight enough for them to not fall of in even a minor impact. I don't know of anyone who does, my parents don't even do it.

If you move the slider, slowly in reverse starting from after the guy hits the ground it looks really cool seeing the orange ninja get built from lots of sucked-in bits. |

The above post is correct, the guy had a guardian angel riding on the back of the bike that day. He broke an arm and a leg. His spine, head is fine. He will live.

i have a friend who was hit by a pick up truck while walking and his shoes flew off. He was absolutely fine surprisingly. It's very easy for your shoes to be flung off, even if you think they are on relatively tight.

Was this dude just not paying attention at all? Also it doesn't even look like he's going that fast until he hits the trailer and goes flying, weird.

I think the orange bike is a third rider, the bike on the right at the beginning is slowing down way to much to go flying like that.

Yeah after watching again you're correct. In that case he definitely wasn't paying attention.

1st view: I cringed when I saw his head hit the ground after flying like a ragdoll.
2nd view: Holy **** the fairings of his bike exploded. Wait, was he wearing any other gear? |

Wow.
Worst part is the guy filming probably wouldn't have gone down if it wasn't for the orange bike. It's bad when you hurt yourself, worse when you not paying attention hurts others. |

I can't tell on this tiny screen. Were the trailer lights connected? Was the driver signaling the turn? Either way, it's still the bike's fault, but I think it could have contributed.

That was pretty gruesome to see. I'm wondering who is being held responsible for the crash? It has to be the orange ZX10 rider, right?
This is what makes group riding somewhat dangerous. There's always that one person in the group who doesn't seem to pay attention to anyone or anything besides speeding through everyone. Had this guy actually been paying attention to his surroundings instead of trying to speed to the front of the group, he wouldn't have been injured or caused another rider to crash. |
