Hey folks. Been riding my green '02 for about 6 years now. Up until now it's been 100% stock, purely a commuter. Bought it when gas hit $4/gal, it literally paid for itself and then some with the gas it was saving me. In 6 years I've put 20,000 miles on it, in addition to the 13,000 it had when I bought it. This thing gets ridden.

Now I want to shake things up a bit. Originally I wanted to sell it and get a cruiser to start a project bike, but with 33,000 miles and a broken cowling I just couldn't get was I was looking for, so the Ninja became the project bike.

Looking forward to finding some good info and inspirations for turning this boring commuter into my own unique head-turner.

Turning the Ninja into a cruiser will be different. I would suggest ape hangers and a sissy bar, forward pegs, saddle bags, fringes on the seat and grips, a huge headlight with no fairing, and a flat black paint job.
