pilot road 3 will not bead up
I just got my 150 70 pilot road 3 in from revzilla and the damn thing will not bead. Ive had it on my buddies tire machine and after no luck there took it to columbia powersports and despite getting to sit on and drool over the ninja 1000 for 20 minutes or so even they couldnt get it on. Tried the starting fluid trick once but it just burned on the edge of the rim and then went out.

The KY version of that setup is a strap and tire iron. Wrap the strap around the tire, slide the tire iron between the tire and strap and turn the tire iron to tighten the strap around the tire.

You put it between the rim and bead, creates a seal and once enough air pressure builds the tire pops into place.

You can improvise one with a rubber hose and a plug to hold both ends together. As you surely know, the valve stem should be out and the flow of air should be as big as possible. Use lubricant for tires,....lots of it.
