2006 r6r raven edition - VA
I'm considering selling my 2006 r6r raven edition for $5500:
- HID lights - MJS mid pipe - bullseye vinyl - keiti tank pad - block off plates - L.P. flasher relay - weighted barends - 15T front sprocket - smoked windscreen - no cut frame sliders - carbon fiber accents - brake reservoir socks - fender eliminator kit - air filter snorkel removed - Flash Tuned ECU (with custom pcv / autotune map, speedo calibration, etc) - hotbodies smoked flush turn signals - Motodynamic smoked integrated / sequential LED tail light I just put brand new tires on the bike yesterday, 0 miles on the new tires! The bike is absolutely gorgeous and has a current inspection. Just changed the oil a couple hundred miles ago and added new fork seals as well as a fresh brake bleed / new fluids. The bike has 19k miles. Located in Culpeper, VA.

Go check the crash forums and see if anyone's totaled their Ninjette recently. Might have some luck there!

Good luck, beautiful bike. $7,500 seems steep for a 2006 with 19k miles though. There's ones with well under 10k miles for around $5,000 here (clean bikes at that). If I was you I'd put it back to stock.

Actually I just purchased a 2008 concours 14 a few hours ago. I'm thinking when I sell the r6 I may buy another ninjette.

The price is obo. Lots of r6's around here are going for the 6-7k range without any extras like mine. I'll take any fair offer but not in a rush to sell her.

Your R6 looks pretty sweet, I am planning on getting a Supersport bike in the future, and turn my 250 into a track beater. I rode an R1, I'm a small guy and the R1 is not as heavy and less agile as people make it out to be compared to smaller bikes. BTW, good deal on your R6! the mods you put are nice.

Thanks, BoBO! I don't ride very aggressively at all anymore so I figured the extra comfort, less insurance $, and tons of luggage space will fit my needs perfectly. Plus if I ever get that need for speed my concours goes 0-60 as fast as my r6r lol. An 04+ r1 has always been my dream bike but I just don't see it being practical for me as my only bike

Same here, I felt neutered after my first ticket riding my 250 at the canyons. Ever since then, I just ride on the streets and save everything at the track. I was planning on selling my other car to get a used 600RR or R6 a few months ago, but I was also considering on getting a Bolt for everyday practicality. Right now, I'm leaning more on the Supersports bike, but I don't want to rush into it, until I really know what I want.

tempting, but unfortunately I'll be sticking with my 300 for now. I won't have the cash for a new bike until at least this winter and I think I'll do another season on the 300 before getting an r6 or a cbr600rr

Have you tried posting the R6 at the forums? BTW how's the Yamaha community? My friend owns an R6 and he is looking to get a 300 here. He says the R6 forums are full of difficult people.

OK, maybe I was just being conservative, I don't want to bad mouth other forums even though I hear it from many people. But looking at his face, he hated the Yamaha community. He said that place was full of haters and crap talkers that are biased in certain motorcycle brands, if you know what I mean. I told him about this hater free community called ninjette.org and he is looking to get a 300 if not a ZX6-R .

if you're still selling this winter I'll be in the market around 4-5k but that's not what you're really looking for anyway

I may end up removing the aftermarket stuff and sell it for a lower price. Just trying to make it easier all around. Hell, I still have parts from my zx6r leftover that havent sold in years, its just wasting space in the cellar.
