Installed my new Michelin Pilot Street front tire, and retired the old stock IRC that had 23,500 on it.

best I've gotten was 4.48 and I was sure I was going to run out of gas before I made it to the gas station.

on topic: I replaced the bars on my pregen, test rode it real quick and it feels amazing with lowered bars & raised pegs. All I need is to replace the tachometer, add a front number plate, and swap the fluids then I'm good to go to some track days! |

Doubled my bubble and slapped a Zero Gravity DB on the lady. Bought it off of ZGOutlet on ebay with the claim that it is a factory 2nd. Whether it is legit or not I have no idea but it fit perfect, was $60 and customer service was excellent. Delivered within 24 hours was a bonus I didn't even have to pay for.

Rode it on a new front end, new tires, and full 1-piece.
Care free. Fast (a hair extra-legal ), smooth, no SR's today. I hung off a bit. I opened it up at apex. I practiced knee to knee and was smooth as butter. I never once looked at the gauges on the curves, and I was in a happy zen state. I'm ready for this thing they call "track day" |

Rode it and tested out my Macna dry cooling vest. Still needs more testing for me to make an opinion on it. In other news, I absolutely despise the stock seat. I can't wait for the Corbin to come in.

Yesterday repaired electronics and checked to see if petcock had junk blocking it.
Today, did an oil change and changed both sprockets and the chain. Go me and my mechanic self!

Passed 10k miles and 2 years with my Zero. Gave him a bath and wax, lubed his chain and topped off the oil because sometimes he does magic tricks with it.
2 years...longest relationship I've ever had with something I've gotten my legs around.

Reinforced reset mounting points. moved the rearsets out a little but the frame will have to fail somewhere else before the mounting points do again!

Sold it!! Bought last year with an broken back brake for $900, fixed rear master cylinder (stuck piston) for the cost of new brake fluid, touched up some scatches, cleaned it to within an inch of it's life, sold it for $2400.00!
2010 Ninja 250 island blue, 22,000 miles. Really enjoyed it while I had it (7 months) but took a 95 mile ride yesterday on my VFR at a good fast pace......won't miss the ninjette. Now I have the money to finish restoring my 1970 Moto Guzzi Ambassator. + more room in toy garage, now just 3 bikes: 1999 Honda VFR800i, 2001 Kawasaki ZRX1200R, 1970 Moto Guzzi Ambo 750 |

Friend keeps crashing, left rearset was about to fall off, OEM nuts were pulling out of frame. Figured we'd reinforce both sides.

Installed new Corbin seat. Should have been a simple job, but it didn't go so smoothly. I lost one of the bolts inside the frame, which was just lovely. I had to unscrew the battery in order to fish that out. After some time, I finally fished it out. Then I put the new seat on, started the bike up, just to make sure stuff was running and then I dropped it because I forgot to put the kickstand down. Yay! Now I have a bent shift lever. Luckily, I have spares and it's an easy fix.
Note to self: Do not do rush jobs, especially after work and especially when you really don't have the dedicated time to take your time. |

Oil change, wiped down chain, added oil to the scottoiler, confirmed good chain slack, gave it a general once over before a +1000 mile trip to Oregon for this weekends 24hr Mtb race. Mileage is getting up there, currently at 47,500 miles and still going strong.....ish, it is a slow ass 250 after all

Realized I forgot my backpack for a short lunch run I had to improvise. Thankfully I only had a couple of blocks to ride. I'm now in the market for some type of bungee net for the rear seat.

I did something similar when I was catering. My boss forgot some key ingredients and sent me to buy them at the closest supermarket. He didn't care that I was on my bike and couldn't get my gear other than my helmet (locked in another employee's car). I dangled it off the side but the bag kept swinging and contacting the tire. I'm not sure what I ultimately did to get it there but it did wear through the bag and almost made me lose several boxes of butter! |

I had one left turn to get out of the parking lot, one right turn and another left turn into the driveway. It was that one right turn that I actually had the concern for but I took it slow and checked for my sandwich immediately after completing the turn.

Ok, my list of stuff done this week...
Installed a JT sprocket 15T and 45T, and Renthal 520 R4 SRS chain. Completely rewired my accessory electronics, moved the Fuze Block to the rear, and was unable to find why my gizmos failed... Took apart the petcock to see if there was anything in it and nothing I could see so reinstalled it. Did an oil change to full synthetic and discovered Kawi sold me the wrong filter so learned Napa carries both their brand and K&N filters. Score! Mounted a SlipGrip phone holder to get my phone off the handlebar. Liberally applied Engine Degreaser to the underside of the bike and thoroughly cleaned EVERYTHING, from grime, to grease, to unmentionables. She so purdy again.

I ordeed mine with the RAM ball mount just in casse direct mounting failed. I simply removed the ball, drilled into the dash cover, and used one of the holes to attach the holder.
This is the version for the Casio G'zone Commando, but their styles all appear to be the same basic concept.
