The older man asked his new companion what his wife looked like. “She’s a gorgeous blonde,” the fellow answered, “with a body that would cause a bishop to go through a stained glass window, and she’s wearing tight white shorts. How about yours?” The senior citizen wasted no words: “Forget her, we’ll look for yours.”

I didn't understand your post.

Do you mean;

when young(ladies), no skirt is short enough When old (ladies), every skirt is too short.

Or

When (you were) young, no skirt was short enough when (now that you are) old, every skirt is too short.

it works on a bunch of levels

the two you spoke of, there are some women who shouldn't wear short skirts

it speaks to youth and exuberance vs age and refinement

it also can be viewed as what I perceive , when I was a young buck the girls wanted their skirts shorter to show me more leg, and now that I'm an "old guy" they don't want the midieval lech looking at them...

the more you think about it, the more it works... perhaps not inspirational I guess, but true none the less.

One of the secrets to life is knowing the wild heart blows like the wind, set it free... and may it blow hard enough to take your breath away.

"Don't be a bitch."

Dead honest the most moto thing anybody can say to me. Not good job, not you can do it, not that was great, not keep it up. The best moto is to not be a bitch, and strive for perfection. Every time you line up plan to get first, every time you mount a pullupbar plan to get a perfect score. Every time you go for a run plan to get a perfect time.

I remember when I was about 12 years old after church let out one day. Out in the foyer there was an older gentleman everyone called Grandfather Klautky. He reached out to shake my hand and I shook it (most likely a typical wimpy handshake of a 12 year old), then he holds my hand more firmly and looks me right in the eyes and says something I"ll never forget:

"When men shake hands, their hearts are together!"

I've never given a wimpy handshake since that day.
