I've got some little glass vials

I've got some little glass vials and I thought they could make cute keychains. I was thinking about filling them with a live culture of something like hydras, and feeding them sea monkeys as needed. I later scrapped that idea as it'd be difficult to make something like that sustainable, and it'd be hard to see, and hydras don't like to be moved around a bunch.

So, I put a little bit of dilluted lavender oil in one of them. It smells nice. I like it. But it looks boring. What else should I put in there?

I also considered filling one up with glitter and throwing it on the ground really hard near someone's feet to glitterbomb them, but then I remembered it was glass and changed my mind on that one.

They look like this, by the way

Any suggestions?

Tried that. They turn brown when they get old and it looks gross. Also dried blood dilluted in alcohol (it's hard to bleed out 5ml when you don't have the proper tools) and that was kinda cool.

Another idea did come to mind though. I should put in a dead bug and fill it with formaldehyde. That would be awesome.

I don't get critters like that in California. I was thinking maybe a wasp. Wasps are cool.

A decent portion of the internet seems to think the California common scorpion (Paruroctonus silvestrii) is a real thing that can be found in California. The lack of a wikipedia page seems odd though.

I was going to say that's what I use them for.

Maybe some hemp oil.

I dry all sorts of flowers, the color last a couple of years depending on location. My pink roses turn orange after about 5 years. Lavender holds color.
