Are Three Bikes too Many?

An inane pessimist with no positive outlook on life would say yes.

But I say **** that ****, three bikes is not enough....

Bring on the fourth

Oh sweet sweet FJR1300. What a sexy piece of machinery. With a big long hard shaft.... drive... and an automatic adjustable windshield, heated gear sockets with a controller on the handlebars and a sexy standard riding position that drops panties.

My panties.

Picked her up for $3400 and she came with a brand new battery and some other goodies. The bike is actually going to be my dads but he asked me to loan him the cash to buy it so technically it is mine, for now.

Back home

Damn that's a really good buy. Note to self: never buy at the start of the season again.

How's she compare to your 1300?

No.
I have five cars, getting rid of 2 so I can buy a few more bikes. Much easier to store and cheaper to insure.

Its fantastic. I like a lot of stuff about my bike more but what the FJR has over my beamer is the automatic adjustible windshield, the dial controlled heated clothing sockets, a much more comfortable sitting position and easier access to doing oil changes.

Also it was $6,600 less lmfao

Great deal! How many miles on the FJR? Nice looking bike and I see it has a mount for a topcase and Tech Spec tank pads. I delivered a Honda ST1300 for my previous boss and enjoyed the ride. I could see owning a bike like that at some point. As for the question "Are three bikes too many?", definitely NOT (I have 4).

Get him out on the track on the 250!! He'll see how a little bike is faster than his big bike.

might be a good idea to have him take the MSF if it's been that long. A track day might be too much too soon.

you need at least 1 for every day of the week.

I only have weekdays covered with 5 at home, but I'm getting there!

Lol, him on track... not gunna happen and the MSF is very unlikely too. I will be lucky to get him fully geared up. He has been down before, so I am not gunna tell him anything that he don't already know about that. The one thing he should have going for him is; from 40+ years of hardcore fishing experience, I expect his right hand to have the finest of control and senses. Although, that level of sense may be a negative thing.

For an motorcycle enthusiast, I say 3 is the minimum. However, my thinking is they shouldn't be 3 of the same type (ie sportbike).

So far I have two...my commuter/weekend getaway/canyon---2007 Triumph Bonneville
Race/Track bike: 2008 Ninja 250
Want next: dirtbike or supermoto

"Are three bikes to many?"

Not if you can ride them all at once, it's an advanced technique.

Nothing wrong with it. I wouldn't do it myself cos of ins, maint, and garage space. I guess if I had the cash and room, I'd do it. Would love to get one of those new yami triples

The adjustable windscreen is a great feature. Was checking those out along with the concours. Decided on keeping the KZ1000 for abit longer.

Congrats on the new ride.
