Knock-off exhaust?

Ok so I don't want to spend a a lot of money on a exhaust for this bike. I want get any of it back when I sell it so why go crazy. I was thinking about modding the stock exhaust but don't want to go thru the trouble anymore. I need the bike to have more sound for safety reasons....I know some will say that crazy. But it's been a few times I've had bikes ride on the side of me ; I drive a 1990 ford bronco, and I don't hear a thing....

So on my quest for a super cheap exhaust I fount some knock off akrapovikm exhuast on aliexpess... For $60 it don't seem to bad...any ideas?

I know how you can get $60 extra when you sell it: put on the stock exhaust. You're selling it. What do you care what it sounds like (better still: what it doesn't sound like!).
Seriously; why spend money needlessly (you have the stock exhaust!) if you're going to sell it?

I'm not selling it right now. The question is what you think about the exhuast

I want to learn a bit and get my skills up first. I don't feel comfortable with how quite the stock exhaust sound.

I am partial to the "C" pipe, looks like you would have to attach the 2 little nipples to your header by welding then put the "universal contact pipe" between the muffler and your header. Not ideal but try it.

I love the sound of racing engines. A tuned, piped V4 or a Ferrari V12 gives me a woody!

Here's my honest opinion on street motorcycles: unfortunately; nowadays they need to blend into the scenery. We have an area up here in BC called the Kootenays. Hundreds of miles of beautiful motorcycling roads and it's in the middle of nowhere and the vast majority is sparsely populated. The term "time & a place" describes the area: little traffic and great pavement. It's where one should open it up a bit if they're going to on a public road.

The problem is: there's now a big push by the locals for enforcement not because of speed but because of noise. Even most race tracks now have sound limits because the neighbours are pissed!

The point is: the public is pissed in both cities and the countryside about the loud motorcycles screaming past their homes. Admittedly; the biggest contributors to the noise issue may not be sport bikes but rather the HD Pirate ships that travel in large groups with their exhaust notes reverberating through the hills and across the plains.

One other thing: loud pipes do not save lives. Rider skills do. Them's facts.
Loud pipes also attract heat. As in the popo.

By the way; if you do come up to BC we have an "Over 40" law: if you're going over 40 km (25 mph?) over the speed limit; there's an automatic, on the spot impound and the fines etc can add well over $1,500. You don't want to attract attention to yourself!

Pass the popcorn, Chris!

Why not buy a DanMoto instead? With this exhaust you still need the correct link pipe, or it will sit at an odd angle to the bike.

What about using flex exhuast pipe...the welding would not be so bad. I have a shop I go to that does my truck for cheap
