Quick question on Oil

When I first got my bike; once it hit the mileage that was indicated by the manual I bought a 4L jug of Motul 5100 and did my oil and filter change.

Closed the Jug and put it in my storage shed.

Second time I had someone else do the oil change it because I just didn't feel like doing it myself and I had also forgotten about the Oil I had previously bought.

So that jug of oil has been sitting there for 2 years and a halfish

Now I'm planning on doing another oil change once the snow melts can I use the oil from that Jug or should I buy a new one?

Oil has been stored underground for around 65 million years; hence, two years and a halfish more will not make a difference.

Your oil has broken down, and if you put it in your bike, it will kill all the neighborhood puppies during the night, and kittens during a full moon.

The only way to save your bike, and yourself is to ship me take oil, and I'll make sure it doesn't harm anything, or anyone.

Or you could dare use it, and my god may mercy on your soul.

You have been FOREWARNED!!!!!!!!

O I wish it was that easy, one of the items needed to render the oil powerless is a PreGen.

I know right, truly evil it is, now I have to also call Bruce Campbell and have him assist me as well.

Just curious....why would that matter? All the motor oil I've ever bought has never been sealed.

Brake fluid and power steering fluid is sealed, but I've never seen a sealed bottle of motor oil before.

I think he means the cap on the bottle, they generally don't sell the bottle without those. And I assume that would be so impurities don't fall in and react with the oil.

Exactly; I guess maybe I should have said something like "closed container."
