A Hello from Milwaukee
Hey everyone, I just recently purchased a Ninja 250 and would like to say I am a complete hypocrite. For a very long time I agreed with my families sentiment that motorcycles are dangerous and so I had lacking interest. My friend got one, had it for a year and I didn't budge. One night I essentially saw the light after talking to him and began my research. Friend used to have a Green 08-09 and posted here on the forums sometimes also, he has since got a SV650/sold ninja.
I enjoy club racing spec miatas with the SCCA at Blackhawk Farms in Beloit and always go to the Milwaukee autocross they have right around my birthday. Bike is a 2011 Special edition I picked up less than an hour from where I live, minor damage to the left side, looks like it was leaned - he said it was run into by a family member. Regardless, light damage to the left side. Have done a few mods with information from other members on this forum and other 250 forums, I plan on posting up the things I have done and to give back since I have been trolling haha. How long have other members kept their bikes before upgrading?? I know that is a personal thing and based on your skill level - just would like to hear some opinions/stories. -- My initial reaction was to keep it and not even think about upgrading until I have 5k miles. (bought at 2000) Best Regards, Mike |

Welcome to the forum. I'm about an hour north of you near Sheboygan. If you ever want to go for a ride or need help with the bike let me know and we can meet up. I just sold my Ninja about 3 weeks ago.
