Hi all,
New to the forum but not bikes. Fell off my first one (home made with pull start lawn mower engine) about 51 years ago. Don't race seriously any more, but still like to chase the "young'uns" around the track.

Got my G-daughter a '07 250 for high school grad present. She was ecstatic, mom was pissed. So we do some track days together.

Super forum here. I really like the way new riders are accepted and helped, with even the most mundane questions.

I have been reading this forum closely. I need to get the 250 to feel more like my CBR, especially in braking; and I feel I have picked the right place to find good help.

Thanks for all your hard work maintaining the web site.

Cheers,

Welcome, Jim! Good luck with the wooden front brake: nature of the beast.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
You gotta just keep moving, 'cause there's plenty of time to be still on the other side of the dirt.

Most fun:
Miller front straight,
6th gear, throttle pinned, 150+
negotiating with God to live,

Helps to keep the gunky stuff out of the arteries...
Cheers,
