1987 Ninja 250 Rebuild

This is my first motorcycle, which I bought non-running and in shabby condition but with everything critical in place. it has since been rebuilt and cleaned up. Thankfully the engine once tuned ran phenomenally well and has not given a single issue since with extremely low km's for a 30 year old bike. It has more than enough power and agility to fly through the hectic streets of Toronto. I've since bought an '06 Suzuki SV650 to work on over the winter. What a great machine I think it cleans up to look much nicer than both newer gen Ninjas.. Or at least the '88-'07. I feel its smaller physique really matches the performance of the bike and it is just so unique!! I'm not a fan of the older looking headlamps but love the really slender rear end vs. the following generation's bulky bodywork. So happy to have picked this up.. Fantastic motorbike. Enjoy

Check the carbs

Wait... This is a running bike? Weird. Most of the time, people come in with dirty carbs, ask for advice, then they leave forever haha. Thats awesome that you brought it back to life

Long as this thread doesn't get shut down on the "Ninjette" forum I'll try to post a pic of the finished product.

Actually, not true. Me and lots of others would beg to differ. In fact, there's a niche of us that are super into cycling as well :P

Question

Beautiful bike(s), I'm rebuilding a EX250-E1 right now, I was wondering where you purchased your windshield/windscreen?

Finished

My projects are both complete. Both lovely bikes, the Ninja was a complete dream and I sort of regret selling it. The SV.. Torque by the dump trucks.. Rediculous power and I'm super happy with the final styling. Time to enjoy. .
@GeekyReese the windshield on the ninja was OEM.
