Hello from DC/NoVA!
What's up, 250 aficionados? Took my MSF in nov 2012, been riding since feb 2013. Still on my first bike, an 04 ninjette (I'm probably going to ride this sucker to pieces, and then sell the pieces). Started riding while I lived in the bay area, then moved to NoVA last august. Pretty hard adjusting to the relative lack of twisties, but on the plus side... when it's too hot to ride, I can wrench on the little jerk instead. Bike just reached 12k and I do all the maintenance myself, so I've got my work cut out for me...
Cheers! Hope to see some of you in the area. |

Thanks peeps!
@JohnnyBravo, there are some, but they're over a highway hour away and very short. They're all crawling with cops, and full of clueless squids that park it in every single corner. Kind of a hard pill to swallow after living 4 blocks away from the berkeley hills. Clearly I need to get someone to hook me up with a pickup and get out to summit point every month. |

That's a fact. Crawling with cops or squids usually puts a red X by a road for me too.
I guess I'm just spoiled living so close to some great roads, dang sure need to hit up some track time though! |

I'm blessed, I ride twisties to go anywhere. I have to ride a few to get to almost any major road though they tend to be filled with sweepers rather than tight corners but I'm not far from those either. My lowside a while back was in a double 90 (left then back right 2nd gear corners if you follow the no gravel line (which is not the ideal line))
Looking forward to some track time this summer at shenandoah (and maybe midOhio) |
