Taking my road test tomorrow!

Hey guys, I'm scheduled to take my road test tomorrow.

I passed my permit test last week on the first try without studying anything. I bought a 250r and have put about 400 miles on it so far. I can balance pretty well at low speeds, and usually for a good few seconds at a stop sign without touching down.

Feeling pretty confident about the road test -- how hard can it be?

Anything in particular that I should start worrying about? I have no idea what they're going to make me do but I'm confident that I won't have any problems passing.

Check with your local driver license center. It should be the same place you took the written test. They should offer a handout that will document the skills part of the M endorsement that the test administrator will be expecting you to perform. It should also be available via their website.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Excellent idea!

(Thanks for moving my thread as well, I almost posted it here but was unsure..)

Yes, they gave me a paper printout last week. I was scheduled for last thursday, but seeing as I didn't have my proof of insurance arrive in the mail for the bike yet, I couldn't take the test so I bumped my date back a week (to tomorrow.)

I'll go have a look at the paper they gave me and hopefully my proof of insurance shows up in the mail today, otherwise I'll have to reschedule for next week (they only do road tests on thursdays..)

Perhaps I could show the administrator my checkout confirmation on my phone.. or proof of my car insurance... or something else instead of that little pink insurance card that always takes a month to arrive via snail mail.

That's a good idea -- looking up what sort of things I will be tested on.

I'm not worried -- worst case scenario... it costs me ten bucks and I have to come back in a week.

Just shift o first, rev to 12,000rpm and release clutch quickly.
If you got 400 miles you will be fine, what will get you is checking mirrors, head checks and proper signals- and make sure signals turn off after turns.
Here in CT we had to pass the safety course w/ practical then the cheesy computer test at DMV- waited 2 hours in line for that.

Yeh the test administrator was female and she told me that she was very attracted to me and my motorcycle. She marked me off a point when i came close to running over a cone, but explained something about 'cool points' for being on a bike which made up for it.

Anyways, i passed regardless.

Sounds like it went even better than you expected it to!
