Ordered one because the BKMoto kit didn't have yellow and ordered a second because it was free shipping and now $52 cheaper than BKMoto.

Ordered this so that my purty undertail will be even more visible. The hole is probably too big but I'll make it work somehow.

How's the ventilation? I noticed it doesn't have perforations. Do you have leathers? Can you get them over the boots?

I was at a dealer and it seems much simpler than the vortices to get everything latched and tight.

I picked up a cooling vest from cycle gear. They didn't have the Rev-it one in stock so I just picked up their house branded one.

Just bought these online yesterday:
http://www.cyclegear.com/CycleGear/S.../41397_59409_2

I tried them on in the store but didn't have any money with me. They fit like a glove (pun fully intended) and now I'm just waiting for them to arrive to try them out on the bike! The exterior stitching seemed a bit cheap at the store but its better than having a hole in the palm like my current leather gloves do! I couldn't pass them up for $35, but I know I'll probably get what I pay for.

It's all in the technique. I roll the earplug so it's small diameter. Then I wet it with my tongue and lips (twirl it in my mouth) to lubricate it. Then guide/glide it into the ear canal and hold it in place until it expands a bit.

"Roll it, lick it, stick it, forget it."

As an alternative to licking the earplug, you can have your girlfriend give you a "wet willy".

Like so many things in life, proper lubrication is key to success.

Lol!^

I tried doing it a bunch of times with the foam ones and it always feels like in either one of my ears it's not in all the way, or they will kind of slip out in my helmet during my ride, maybe my insertion technique is completely off but I am loving these ones that you don't have to replace.

Picked up a Rev'It cooling vest for my commuting in the summer. Rode with it on the way home on Tuesday when it was 97°. It was awesome, if you ride in hot climates I can't recommend a cooling vest enough.

I took it to the bathroom and ran it under the faucet for a minute and then just squeezed off the excess before gearing up. The vest zips and buttons into any newer Rev'It jacket and supposedly keeps you cool for up to 6 hours. Just putting my jacket on in the office I could tell that the vest was going to help at least some. I was amazed that in my 50 minute ride home I almost forgot that it was nearly 100° outside, the vest works that well. When I got home I figured that my shirt would be wet but I was completely dry. So far I've only used the vest once and the ride was only an hour so I can't speak to the 6 hour claim but I'm sure I'm going to get a ton of use out of this thing over the summer.

It was a little spendy at $89 but absolutely worth it. It's going to pay for itself in extra riding days this summer.

Unfortunately the AGV Sport GPR gloves had to go back. The fit and finish was way lacking in the pair I got. The hard parts in the fingers hit me right on the knuckles and made it so I couldn't bend my fingers without hurting.

Back to the summer glove search.

Got my K&N air filter last week and installed it over the weekend.
What a difference. Snapper response at stops and the RPMs seem to be running a smidge lower. Though that could be all in my head.

Happy bike.

Wife got me the sena smh5 for fathers day. Used it a couple times and like it. I've only used it for music so far. I've read reviews saying it doesn't get loud enough. At full volume I would go deaf, I keep it closer to 1/2 to maybe 3/4 and hear it fine. More lows/mids would be nice since there is a lot of treble.

It's the 08 candy plasma blue. The 'transfer' filter from my iPhone made it that color. I think it looks pretty cool.

Sweet! Out of curiosity, which mounts did you get and where are you mounting it? I am hoping to get a Saddleman with this paycheck but we will see. How is the Saddleman holding up for you?

The seat is awesome! I love it and would highly recommend it.

As for the mount, i'm putting it on the left hand bar and using this:

Nice, I'll do the same. I am using the unused mirror brackets/caps. The mounts: 1 inch ball adapter, double socket swivel arm and then the universal x-grip.

I have the X grip in my car, i was a bit iffy on using it on the bike. I like the solid hold of the SlipGrip mounts. Had one for my iPhone on the old bike.

Still waiting on the clamp and arm to get here. Hopefully i'll have the setup for this weekend and be able to tell you.

I realy hope that clamp works, the others are a bit more bulky that i want on my handlebars.

Why wouldn't you want to use one of these instead:

link

It screws into that unused mirror mount that's already attached to the left and right handlebars.

Don't worry, Terri, I didn't realize I had those either, until recently. I did a lot more research on mounting and options and found that thread Alex posted, this past weekend. So, knowing that, I ordered the ball adapter instead of the handlebar one. As for the X-Grip, I agree with you, I definitely like your phone case better than the X-Grip. I'm hoping this does the trick, if not, I may have to try other options. I rather have an actual flat surface backing my phone.
