Chains & Sprockets
Figured I would post this under general since it doesn't apply to one specific model.
What chain and sprocket brands/types do you guys/girls find to be the best bang for your buck? I'm looking to do new a new chain and sprocket for my bike, but I'm a bit overwhelmed at all of the options. |

So JT Sprockets, DID chain. Got it.
Are there any DID chains in particular that offer good value/money ratio? Specifically at what dollar value do you think the point of diminishing returns is achieved? |

Be sure it's an o-/x-ring chain. The little bit of extra cost over a non-o-ring chain is well worth it in terms of longevity. If you want to go for the top-notch race stuff, that's up to you.

If you spend over $175-$200 for both sprocks and chain, you are overbuying. A lot of riders race on less than that for their equipment.

Okay sweet, that's not bad at all. I spend more than that for my track bicycle.
