New Ninja rider checking in!
So at the ripe old age of 38, I decided to take the MSF course and become a rider. Just two weeks ago, I found a sweet deal on a 2008 Ninja ex250 on Craig'slist after a couple months of searching. You really have to strike when the iron is hot on there, as a few times I called about a Ninja within hours of it being posted, and it was sold before I got a chance to inquire. Alas, I found my baby. She's in perfect condition, not a scratch or dent to be found. 5,500 miles on the clock, one owner who babied the bike and even threw in 2 Shoei helmets along with winter and summer riding jackets. Walked away with a great deal of $2,000 for everything. The guy who sold it to me was a real stand up guy-he took it to the Kawi dealer for a pre-sale inpection on his own dime too. Anyway, I'm David and I live in Seattle. I've put close to 200 miles on the bike since last weekend and am loving every minute of riding. I miss the lil Ninja when I'm not on it, and have been seriously bitten by the riding bug - and so it begins. Just wanted to pop my head in and introduce myself, as I've been lurking for a while. Lots of great info and helpful people on this board!

Thanks so much for warm welcome everyone! Stoked to be here. Loving my lil ninja n finally ready for my first commute on it tomorrow. Seriously considering the monkeybutt ride to Winthrop on Sunday too. Been doing lots of reading here so I've found good threads answering my questions.
