I take it that it wasn't the wind? Any damage other than some scratches?

No wind. Guessing someone got on my bike or I didn't set my kickstand all the way down/forward. Can't really do much but suck it up and ride on.

Cracked fairings and bent rearset.

I'm sorry to hear this, hopefully it was an accident rather than intentionally done.

It really sucks, but oh well. I guess I can start practicing abs fairing repair work.

The bike is parked in the parking garage with my truck next to it in the picture. I do have rub marks in the dirt on the side of the truck which could be from someone squeezing their way back out. I'll look more into it when I get off work.

Just install something like this, but have the spikes come out of the seat. Should curb the issue

Cool

Sorry to watch that, Cuong

May it be that a car pushed it forward?

No cameras here in the parking garage. It's possible that a car might have bumped it forward. My truck sticks out a good bit and unsuspecting cars can pull up around it not knowing my bike is there.

Yeah those are one of the risks no one warned me about prior to buying a bike. I would always park closer to the end of the spot instead of to the front of the spot. Of course the problem with that thinking is when a vehicle backs up and is a larger one like a F-250 and hits it and doesn't even notice he/she did it. I'm sorry to hear about that. Trying to think positive: at least it wasn't too much damage.

Yeah, I'm not sweating it. I just need to get around to pulling the fairings off and straighten the fairing stay. It's throwing off the fairing alignment along with all the broken tabs.

That does suck!

I'd be tempted to get a vinyl wrap done to replace the black and white patern after your ABS welding is done.

Try see it as an opertunity to do something cool with your bike!

You can get pretty much anything from the wrap people, I would be go like for like if I were cuong, but maybe a black and white herringbone or checkerboard.

Yea I know I thought of trying out chrome, but that could be blinding at times, have to save that for something I sit in, not on. Ever see the old joe camel ads with the dark black and purple beach that looked like it has neons on the outlines??? That would be tight if done right. I like stuff like wraps where the sky isn't even the limit!!!
Checkers or herringbone would be tight to

Sorry to see it happen to such a nice bike. I am building a shed from old power poles and 2x4s to house my bike when I get it. Hopefully I will have it done by the time I get it.
