Thumbs up 3M black reflective tape (pics)

Bought some strips of 3M black reflective tape on Ebay and I am very pleased with it. Without headlights or flash hitting it, can barely tell its there (on black surface). I put some on helmet, under tail of bike and on backpack. Will definitely be more noticeable at night when cages come up behind me.

Lol, I was wondering who rated it bad. With I would have known about this tape before. Have seen the bright yellow and green, but not the black.

That is sick! Can you get a pic of the undertail to show what that looks like?

I've been looking around for something like this, I can't stand having bright white tape on an otherwise black surface.
Anybody have a link?

This is exactly what I ordered, there are others selling sheets of it, you can always cut out your own design

Have noticed that it doesn't have to be fully dark out for it to be effective either. Tested it with car lights when it was dusk and still light up

Nice, I used orange. my wife says it is crazy bright at night. This is also a 3M product. I think it is one of the best things to do to grab attention

The white works well on the bike. These are large so I'll just include links, not inline pictures.

That fixes problems of poor visibility, now if they'll just make something that fixes stupidity.

Not dissing the thread, just making a comment.

Lol, I was thinking about that. Or even hand giving middle finger but I thought might antagonize people. Since putting this on bike, helmet and back pack I have noticed people staying farther away from me now. I highly recommend this stuff. I will be putting a couple LED eagle eye light in the front to help be seen from the front a little more, will post pictures once I get those done

These folks have the reflective black tape as well as many other colors, decals, reflective wheel rim tape, reflective gloves, etc. http://www.streetglo.net/ and I think their prices are cheaper too.

I ordered from that eBay seller as well. $5 for that black reflective tape, seems pretty reasonable to me.

Streetglo sells 112 inches for around $10. I bought from them and applied it liberally to two bikes and probably have enough to do two more.
