What motorcycle related gifts did you get for Christmas

If you don't celebrate Christmas or some other form of giving and receiving gifts from others this month then I'm sorry your life sucks But for those of you who like me received something cool for you Ninjette then post it up and flaunt you circle of friends and or family's awesomeness.

I know to be extremely hard to buy gifts for because when I want something I just buy it then and there, I don't talk much about what I want to my family because they think I'm crazy enough as it is. Then if my family has some idea of what I want chances are it'll be the wrong color, model, size, brand, whatever, in the end the gift ends up exchanged for what I really needed and a gift card or cash would have made everyone's life easier. I hate that its toss way but it also feels wrong to ask your family to get you said exact part # for something that you really want but they probably can't afford, so I leave it to chance and wish for the best. Well this year they completely surprised me with something I really wanted but had forgotten I wanted it over the last few months. They got me a parts washing tank and 10 gallons of solvent probably not the first thing that comes to mind as a Christmas gift but honestly I haven't been this excited about receiving a complete surprise gift since I got my first motorcycle when I was 14.

My girlfriend knew everything I wanted for my bike so she got my sister to buy tapeworks rim tape. She bought me a carbon fiber progrip tank pad. The best was that my parents bought me flush mounts, customled tail, and Sidi boots!!!!

This Christmas was awesome!

Money for bicycle parts; gonna buy me some badass, overbuilt, rock solid, burly rims (and new tubeless tires) and hydraulic brakes, maybe a shock if I still have some left over.

That counts right? Didn't get anything else because I didn't ask for anything. I feel like considering I didn't give any help on gift ideas for me, my family did a darn good job. They rock I enjoyed my time with my family more than anything they could buy for me this year. I've missed them.

That is what I got, so I put it in the jar for the FL trip. Since the Mon. track day is only $105, I will just consider that one paid for already.

I'm the type that if I need/want something I just buy it. So, this year I got stickers. One for the track I ride and another map of the US that lets me color in all the states I visit.

Silly, but eh, I like them.

Nothing bike related, so I'm going to get it for myself as a Christmas gift to me, from me! I need some glove liners for my cold winter rides to work.

some new brake pads and a pair of shorty levers. I don't even feel the need to swap out the pads yet since the braking still feels fine to me when I use it so I'll just wear down the pads a bit more before switching them in the spring or summer. I also got a few keychains, most notably a kawasaki logo one and a yoshi one (my little sister saw it in some store and thought of my bike when getting it, I'd say it's perfect lol)

This was a great holiday season for my riding needs. I was lucky enough to get a tank bag, a new set of riding pants, and three different types of neck warmers/wind blockers (we'll see which works out best, might be all of them at once tbh when it really gets downright cold).

I got some money that is supposed to go towards getting another 250 or 300 in the future. Oh yeah! Getting closer all the time!

I kept thinking/dreaming I'd walk out to the garage and see a brand new Ninja 250/300 or WR250R/X with a red bow on it. If that had happened I don't think any other Christmas would ever come close.

Joking with my wife about it since all those Lexus commercials were running - like every year at this time.

Zero. I did buy myself new gloves and a jacket yesterday...so Im good.

I suppose my gift is my family being fairly supportive of my riding and not having to hear about how Im going to kill myself at every family gathering.

My stepdad and mom gave me a 2002 Ninja 250 and 2 piece Teknic leathers. My dad and stepmom got me some ratcheting wrenches to work on all of my projects. Part of my Target gift card from my grandparents went to getting a memory card for the GoPro. Which will be attached to a bike. I'm feeling very blessed.

That's what I figure too. Family time, a couple small things, and a little play time money to support my carbon fiber habit.

Christmas...

Kind of cheating, but I bought myself a gift on the 26th: a 2005 KLR250. Ran across the ad on my work place’s electronic bulletin board. Less than 1600 miles, never been in the dirt or laid down. Kick start only, though.

Checked the valve adjustment the day before yesterday: was in spec, but I was disappointed that the valve adjust locknuts require a 10mm socket instead of the Ninjette’s 9mm, so my special valve adjusting wrench won’t work. Bummer. But the baby KLR’s valve adjust is easier to perform than the Ninjette’s, and there’s only 4 valves to adjust because the KLR is a thumper.

Looking forward to taking the Ninjette out of storage sometime in February or March.

Happy New Year! And ride safe.
