RIP...prayers to the family.

This is sad news. It does appear to be a green new gen. It also appears the rider did have on a helmet.

Appears the car made a left in front of the rider, the most common scenario for a car/motorcycle accident.

Keep your eyes open, never assume what another vehicle operator will do, and don't hesitate to do the SMIDSY maneuver to increase visibility. There are too many elderly drivers in Florida that should have given up their keys long ago. If you know one, you can use this form to report them. http://www.flhsmv.gov/floridagranddr...afeDriver.html

Whomever the rider is, according to a post on Fb, he was not alone immediately after the wreck.

In left turner accidents the bike collides with the right side of the car/truck.
Note that in this case, the rider hit the left side of the car and windshield.

I am familiar with that intersection and visibility cannot be better, unless cars moving North along the bike blocked the view fields of rider and driver alike.

Panoramic street view of the intersection

It is very probable that the driver, arriving to the road separator, was looking to her right (to Southbound traffic) at the point of collision.

Judging by the minimum damage to the bike, it seems that the rider was able to brake hard but not enough to avoid colliding with sufficient force to throw his head against the windshield.

Weather was gorgeous, blue sky and shinning Sun, mild temperature.
Many bikers are choosing riding this week because of the good weather.

Unhappy

I have visited the site of the accident this morning.
It is very depressing to realize that one second of inattentiveness or bad decision can end a promising life and the happiness of one or more families.

A left turning cage that is on the biker's right, will result in damage to the left side of the cage.

I noticed the bike didn't seem to destroyed, i was wondering if he hit the brakes a little too hard and lost the front just before impact propelling the rider directly into the vehicle?

I don't think there's enough info to go on. But, smashed windshield on the car, so the impact was hard enough to destroy it solely from the side, or either the bike and/or rider came up high enough to damage it directly. If the rider lowsided prior to hitting the car, I wouldn't expect to see that much damage up high on the vehicle.
