'Merica!

On our Independence ride, we had to park Red White and Blue, because anything else would just be treasonous. Not that we were all on Asian bikes at a Mexican restaurant or anything...

@RiderX1138 and @Jono

And a pic of my son doing his MotoGP impression.
He's already bugging his mom to let me buy him full gear, so he can ride with me.

That's an awesome idea lining the bikes up red, white and blue.
How many bikes showed up?

It was just us 3 on Friday.

The weather changed on us before we got to Holly Springs National Forest, but we still got in about 100 miles by lunch-ish.

Very cool

I had mexican food Saturday, chicken burrito smothered in queso blanca and a nice big 32oz margarita-- yup, was feeling GOOD.

(& NO I wasn't on the bike, had my man drive our Scion. No drinking and riding for this girl )

No drinking and riding here either.

I don't want to relive my Saturday. I'll just say my birthday party was a little TOO fun, don't remember most of it...

You seriously don't know what you're missing! Every eaten southern food? It's all french influenced.

French food is the best, coq au vin with garlic escargot's on the side and some nice foie gras and butter on a french stick then duck confit and and a cheese platter to finish it all the time drinking a nicely aged chateauneuf du pape and a nice alsace riesling with the gooey brie on crusty french sticks yum yum yum!

But, I had a burger on the 4th as a nod to my American relatives, all be it with brie rather than pepperjack or slicy cheese and the burger was rare and made from french beef

The french take all the food you "don't like" and prove to you it's more tasty than the food you do like!

Edit: damn it! I live a half hour away from france by ferry, may have to st malo for the weekend, i'm hungry now!

I am southern, we don't eat snails round home, or cow tounge... Come to think of it I don't think I eat none of that stuff you said that I can't pronounce.

Don't make snide comments like that and not expect some recall, I play on xbox live- trust me I can handle any mans trash talk and dish it back doubled over.

I will explain because it's a feature of the forum that I requested some time ago.

Brittany, there is a BB code that will insert the name of the logged in user into the content of any given thread. I asked for this feature some time ago but has since been used for much entertainment value. There are a select few of us that only use the [ you ] tag for the good of all, most other times it's used in good humor. On this forum, be mindful any time you see your user name, it just may be the [ you ] tag instead.

Use it well.
