The Michelin "Pilot Street Tires" I have 15k on the rear tire and it looks like it will go another 10k, even if it doesn't make another 10k i'm extremely happy to get as many miles as the stockers but with a ton more traction.
They're the best bang for buck tire i have seen yet.
Just clicked over the 30k mark the other day.

well, I can't remember if I bought the bike with 12,000 or 14,000 miles on it. I'm leaning towards 14,000. I put around 1500 miles on it before I ripped the dash out along with most of the fairings, and then rode for roughly 500 more miles before I installed a trailtech vapor, which has 3000 miles recorded.
So that's about 19,000 on the bike, 5,000 of which were mine.

2009 Ninja 250R bought 10/30/08. 2,300 miles - not bad for New England as most miles put on during winter.

Wow me too. I've somehow added 2500 miles in the last month, which is weird since it took me about a year to get the first 5000 and it doesn't feel as if I've done that much more riding lately. That brings me to about 21000 on the bike. It's crazy how quickly the miles rack up, the bike doesn't feel as if it should have that many miles on it. There are probably some maintenance things I'll need to go over.

I was trying to sell or give away my 1988 ninja with 140000 miles. But since it is of no value to anyone. I decided to build a blue collar bobber with a twist. The twist is going
To be a street nitrous cafe racer. So now my new bike is starting with 140 k on the speedo.

Yeah, that's kinda my thinking on mine now (well as far as anyone else is concerned. She's very valuable to me). Ah well, means I'm free to do anything I want and not worry about ruining the resale value.

yeah, that sucked riding through. It started as hail then became sleet and I was so thankful when my neck stopped hurting from the hail.

mileage

They uncrated my 2012 250 Ninja in mid June 2014. I added ZG Sport Toruing screen, 15/41 gear change, Corbin seat and replaced the rear seat with a custom mounting plate so if could fit my 32 Liter top case and managed to hit a couple of rallys plus Vintage Speed festival in Alabama and Biketoberfest in FLA. All total 8,300 in less than a year. Wardie

My 2005 has only 7k. I've had it five years. I seem to be riding it less and less, and riding bicycles more and more. Probably time to sell.

present mileage as of today: 2261

My brother purchased it from a guy out in the middle of nowhere in the Spring of 2012; he later bought a BMW F650 Funduro, so since my 1980 Yamaha 850 triple project was going nowhere, I bought the Ninja. Great bike. I'd like to get some mid-range touring done on it this year... so we'll see.

My 2012 pregen finally eclipsed 12k the other day. Barely put any miles on the bike last year compared to when I was living in Maryland.... damn Pennsylvania winter, crappy roads.

Just got back from a 2300 miles round trip from Durango CO for a mtb race and I just passed the 70K mile mark. Bike is still going strong and still hits 100 mph from time to time when the head winds aren't kicking my a$$.

So 70K miles at an avg of 45mpg(since I'm almost always at over 70 mph with a mtb on the rear) is 1555 gals of fuel. Those same 70K in my Tundra would have been 5384 gals of Fuel. Being that I'm in CA we'll say gas has averaged $3.80 a gal for the past 3 years. 5384-1555=3829 gals saved or 3829x$3.80=$14550 saved riding the ninjette vs driving my truck. I think I'll go treat myself to a nice Ducati with all that money I've saved.

Nice!!!

Year of bike: 2013

Date purchased: September, 2014

Present mileage as of today: 4,000

Notes: This is for my 300. And I bought second hand, but it only had 400 miles so I put 3,600 from the 8 months I've owned it... Keep in mind, I live in MA so I couldn't ride AT ALL during the winter this year (we got over 100 inches of snow). I realistically put about 1,000 miles a month on my bike during the summer.

I cannot see a single flaw in that logic. Go get that Ducati!
