It's rained up north off and on today, and then sunny at other times. My little ninja was under her cover locked up in the carport, hoping for clear skies tomorrow!

I'm not sure how it works in the U.S. but from movies the cop pulls someone over and always asks for "licence and registration"
Here they just ask for "licence"
Yeap. The registration is tied to the plate but you have to have the paper with you as it shows your name and address. Kinda of stupid cause the authories always check the plate for proper registration before they exit the patrol car....

Installed an SSR emissions block off plate, put a washer underneath each needle (3.5 position), aligned, adjusted and lubed the chain. Also lubed the clutch cable, soooooo buttery/smooth afterwards. Checked my plugs after putting in 115 main jets ~200 miles ago and they both look good.

Lubed the chain on the ZX6R, need to check the chain alignment still.

I put the fuel tank back on after I drained all the gas into my wife's Rogue so she could get it to the gas station. I also put new rear brake pads on her. The pads I pulled out said Tokico on them so I'm guessing they were original. With almost 10k on them.

Next on my list is my Kawi green led light setup

today we got another stable mate for my ninjette, my mom got a new to her bike, a 2008 suzuki m50 with vance & hines pipes, mustang seat, hypercharger an overall beauty, plus a few weeks ago i added my dad a new bike, a 2003 yamaha vstar 1100, with vance and hines pipes. also last weekend my brother picked up a ninjette but i got no pics of those, so all together there are 6 ponies in the garage, and not much room for anything else lol

Found a used 18" quiet carbon fiber full area P exhaust on ebay. It's now on the way to me. Going to order up the K&N filter, and new jets. Hopefully I have a busy weekend next weekend

Yesterday:
Took pregen-F rear suspension, wheel, and bent center-stand off gutted pregen-F frame #1.
Took newgen-J rear suspension and wheel off loaded pregen-F frame #2.
Hunted fruitlessly for Rexbo/Polymoto Engineering's shorter dog bones.
Installed newgen-J swingarm on gutted Pregen-F frame #1.
Started and ran newgen-J to due to weeks of inactivity.

Today:
Did not run newgen-J bike long enough previous day. Attempted to run again but let it die when minimizing choke/RPMs then it would not start and would backfire from the exhaust while trying. Battery began dying.
Pulled spark plugs and found them dark and wet with gas even though they read lean last time they were checked.
Replaced plugs and tried again; fired right up.

I took him/it for a quick ride to town and filled him up with fuel and Sta-Bil.

I will be pulling the battery and doing an oil change later.

Yesterday I got an oil change done a the dealer (yes I know its easy and I could do it myself but for the cost of it here its not worth the effort $30 inc oil and filter)

Today got her naked for the first time and cleaned all the parts that are hard to reach.

My baby Ninja aka Black beauty has been through a lot and I'm going to have to give her some TLC. She went by train from Rudrapur to Coimbatore to be ready for my track day, which never happened. Then she came by train to Bombay. I went to pick her up day before yesterday, but the retard that I am, I lost the keys, insurance and registration papers(copies) at the station, while pushing the bike from the platform to the office(about 3-500mts in 90+* heat). Searched for them for over an hour, but couldn't find them. The office had closed by the time I went home and got duplicates, but on the bright side, this guy who found my lost key and papers recognized me and gave them to me there.

The next day, i.e. yesterday, my brother went and picked it up. He had to pay a bribe of 20$ to get it cleared, because there is this IDIOTIC tax in my city, according to which I would have to pay 4.5% of the value of the bike to get it in, even if it is already registered there. It's called "OCTROI". So... He takes the bike, fills it with gas and leaves it at my office, where I pick it up from. After riding for a minute or so, I realize the oil light is blinking, so I decide to pull over as soon as I get out of traffic to check the oil level. Before I manage that the bike shuts off and the oil light comes on. So I'm **** scared thinking my engine has ceased, because it wasn't starting up again. Lucky for me there was a gas station near by, so I pushed my bike there and checked the oil level. Guess what, there was NO oil in my bike... I mean my brother rode that thing for more than 40mins through thick traffic and didn't realize there was no oil... and this guy has been driving for over 14 years... I'm thinking someone stole my oil during transport, so I picked up 1.5l of oil to fill her up. Before putting in the oil I tried starting the engine and it fired right up, I heaved a sigh of relief. A few minutes in and I had her running up again.

Today morning I installed the relay given to me by @CThunder-blue to fix my LED problem, but it didn't do the trick. Later the indicators stopped working altogether. I'll be taking it to a shop to see if I have a blown fuse and to see if they can get it fixed... I don't know if the LED's are bad or there is something else wrong. Oh, I also had her washed and polished.

So glad I live in the Sunny South

While my riding will be curtailed some I'll be able to ride through the winter. REally hoping to get in the "Last Ride of the Year" on December 31st! and the "First Ride of the 2013" on January 1st. Might be cold but but I might even ride "into" the New Year... sure beats a New Years Eve Party....

Found out that one of my chain adjuster nuts was gone so I replaced that and went with a hitch pin instead of a cotter pin since I seem to burn through cotter pins like mad.

Installed NGK CR9EIX spark plugs in the ZX6R (was probably running stock plugs at around 19.5k miles, PO didn't change them out) and aligned the chain. After learning how to take the tank off and how the fuel injectors are routed, installing a fuel control unit should be a breeze. I've got a Bazzaz Z-Fi coming in next week and will probably install it a week after.

Yesterday- Got the chain adjusted.

Today- Replaced both front and back brake pads. Replaced both front signal lights and installed the battery lead for the Gerbings Glove Liners. I should be set to ride for the winter, although I might replace my tires before the end of the year.

Did a lot today. Stripped him down and did a complete degreasing, lots of WD-40 and a wire brush to get the rust off, changed the oil, replaced the brakes, degunked the chain, scraped the chipping paint off the mirror bars and repainted. Next will be putting on the integrated tail light, front and rear LED turn signals, hugger, and if the fender eliminator and exhaust come in I'll do that too.

Pulled the fairings, installed a trickle charger, drained the carbs, lubed the chain, put some stabil in the gas tank and topped her off. =[

Yup, last winter I let my bike sit for three weeks without a trickle and it wouldn't start. I had to pull the battery and charge it for a day before I could ride. By time it was charged it was too cold to ride again. This year I'll be able to take the bike out whenever I want without worrying about the battery.

That reminds me, I have been a bad ninja owner. My 250 hasn't be started in 1.5 months. It will receive some love tomorrow.
