I HAVE learned no good deed goes unpunished. I would bet the popo wants the rider as a witness no doubt to assist in the case. I also believe, if he did something wrong, he will have to answer for it as well.

More and more... I am feeling that if I have a graceful and anonymous exit from a situation, I will feel inclined to take it. It's kinda sad, but the hero takes the fall all too often.

I don't blame him for leaving. That guy could of sued him for assault. Wouldn't surprise me in this BS judicial system.

Not a motorcycle story but I had a friend who used to manage a bar years ago and one night he got really smashed after hours and crash his car into a lake near his house. He couldn't get his seat belt off but a random stranger swam out and cut him free. He ended up getting a DUI but still doesn't know who saved him.
