What's up guys? I am a new guy here. I do not have a Ninja 250 yet but I am going to be hopefully getting one in the near future. I am a sophomore in college. I took the msf course a year ago April. That's about it.

Thanks for the welcoming. When it comes to bike values is KBB a pretty good estimator? Currently looking at an 08 that's never been dropped and has an aftermarket exhaust but he didn't list the mileage. He is asking $2500 KBB says $2480.

Just remember, don't pay extra for aftermarket parts and don't let them try to get you to.

Mods are very personal. If it's not something you would personally spend the time any money doing yourself, don't pay extra for it. You're paying extra for something you don't really want!

In fact, if he didn't have the stock exhaust, I'd deduct what it would cost to buy one from the total personally. But that's just me.

I recently went through the purchase process and ended up getting a 2011 Ninja 250 with only 5500 miles, a clean and clear title, and new 2012 Candy Lime Green Fairings for $2300. My advice to you is not to buy the first pretty looking ninja you see. I probably looked at 15 different ninjas before I bought one. Be patient and shop around, you're more likely to find the bike/price you want.
