Sweet ZZR 250

Clean ZZR250 just sold on ebay.
You can get them for a lot less but this is a neat 2000 mile example if you look at the pics

Wow looks like it revs up to 17,000 rpm. Really clean just would not trust the tires because of the age (several years standing)

I don't believe so, the ZZR250's had the same engine as the pre-gen. Redline was 14,000 for the earlier bikes, and later lowered to 13,000 for oiling concerns. It was the older 4-cylinder 250cc bikes that had the insane 19k, 20k+ redlines for their tiny little pistons...

I was just going by the pic of the tachometer. It is not a clear picture but it does seem to list 17000. Does not mean it revs that high just saw the number on the face

The tach does read til 16, but it shows red from 14 - 16. Kinda like putting a 180 mph speedometer on a car that tops out at 120.
