Where are you riding today?

It's SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here in the southeast, it's a warm and sunny day in January!

Where are you riding today? I'm heading to a state park about an hour away. It's closed this time of year but on my bike, I can breeze right past the gate and have the beach and the beautiful wooden bridge all to myself!

Pics to come.

I'll be riding a good distance away, but it will just be lots of slabbing on the highway.

I ride to the gym and back. It takes about 2 hours but an hour and 45 minutes of that is working out at the gym.

And I went out for a short ride, it's still a bit cold, and pretty sloppy out there.
I also went out to claim the picture game!

My ride resulted in half a bottle of chia drink spilled in my top case. Chia seeds are a nightmare to clean up. Even more fun at a gas station.

I rode to my dads, then my moms

I love chia seeds, now I just need to learn to grow chia plants to cut down on the cost!

It's cold and raining, so I rode to get water repellent spray for my helmet shield, then got for coffee, then rode around a beachside neighborhood with curvy hilly roads at 30 mph. Then another coffee, home, shower, and hot tub with the family.

Went for a few short runs, final one was to & from the gym, back wheel spun up & the back stepped out about a ft on the road beside my house, bike went sideways on ice on a hill a few roads further down, going back up that hill (1/2 mile long or so) it went from no snow to lots of snow & back to no snow on the other side of the hill, and when I went to park it my back yard was like an ice rink... how the **** I didn't drop it I don't know... I ****ing hate ice

60° here today, partly clouds, and no wind. Due to lack of snow, decided to ride up and around Lake Tahoe.

Rode to my older bro's place to help him do an engine swap in his jeep, hadn't been there yet and I was pleasantly surprised to walk in and immediately see his bicycles set up on training devices (basically you hop on and pedal for a few hours each day without going anywhere)

Didn't have time to go much of anywhere. It was 58º here today and I only got to ride just up the street to the Waffle House. All of about 2¼ miles round trip.

My son and I were out riding dirt bikes today. It was about 40F most of the day, and we rode on the frozen lake, but mostly through the woods. The bikes were not studded and the ice was still too smooth. In the woods there was about 6" of snow on top of leaves and sand - it was slick - in spots about as slick as the lake! Constant spinning and sliding. A good workout. We both went down numerous times, but luckily no injuries.

This photo was from a couple of years ago, but the cycles looked the same by the end of today. We now have two XR100s instead of a 100 and the 80 in the picture.

I forgot the pictures part. My destination changed halfway through the ride anyway. Today, riding. Tomorrow, riding cause it's a HOLIDAY!

Riding a couple of hours south today for my brother's birthday. Tomorrow I will stick to yesterday's plan and go to my "private beach" at the closed park. Will actually take pics.

nowhere

There were severe ice on every part of every road. Melted snow covered the roads then it dropped to the high 20s to freeze it. It was damn near impossible to drive to work as I was going sideways at 15-20mph half of the way there. Would have never made it on the bike and several people didn't make it in their cars

Checked out the "copper corridor scenic road", saw a giant hole in the ground. Was a little more chilly out than I expected.
