Smell of burnt plastic/wiring

Hey guys, lately I've been smelling a bad small of burnt plastic/wiring coming out from under the steering.

This evening I checked out what might be the problem but cannot really determine what's the problem yet. Bike rides ok, no problems whatsoever but it still bugs me to smell this burnt smell all the way.

On my lookout, I found what seen to me as black liquid on the exhaust rod connecting to the engine, could this be the problem? or does anyone has an idea what this could be? I took this pictures after 3 mins since I've started the bike... could be nothing or could be something but this is the first time I've seen this.

Your help is much appreciated

Picked up a plastic bag of some sort and has melted on the exhaust.

Just use wax and grease remover if not thinners/gun wash.

Soak the exhaust with the product on a rag and it should come off.

If you get some on the plastic farings just use carwash and wash off

You can make one much cheaper than buying an aftermarket one. Just search for a piece of light mesh and cut it to shape and zip tie it in place. Paint as you see fit.
