Folks find their own name for their own personal strengths and weaknessness. While I don't share her faith, that she was able to overcome the hate directed at her from the Internet shows a very strong person in my view.

All pictures online are of someone, it's not just a collection of colored pixels. They may not be here, may not see the comments, but they are real people who deserve to be treated as such.

Is this when some misogynistic arsehole like myself is supposed to but in with a comment about how johnny bravo can relax because his mom is right here next to me and how she does indeed suck?

Well then. I'm certainly not gonna be "that guy" -- no one likes a misogynistic areshole.

This made me think of "if a tree falls in the forest and there's no one to hear it, does it make a sound?"

If you only want positive comments stay home. She clearly does not care what people think.

Then tell me this,

On a forum where we openly ask our women riders to post pictures of themselves on their bike, how is posting another picture of another woman on her bike and making fun of her appearance encourage a friendly atmosphere where new members feel willing to participate in that thread? Or any thread for that matter?

I don't expect a happy field of rainbows and unicorns, but I do expect civility and respect.

You got it right. It's an open forum. I post stuff here knowing I may get hated on. This was not about you. Some may think this is the most attractive woman in the world, perhaps they are too shy to post and haven't?

I aint shy and I get a kick outta this thread.

This lady clearly rocks and owns her style, and for that she gots my respect. I saw it more as a jab at Steven Tyler, with his long hair, makeup and such...

Part of being a well rounded person is rolling with the good, the bad and stuff in between, in stride mind you. Not everything in life is in poor taste and meant to be 100% offensive. The world would be a better place if people found and embraced their sense of humor.

ijs....

there is no way in hell she doesn't know... she owns it, revels in it, she rolls her own tampons and suck starts her Harley...

and if you aren't down with that, you can kiss it.

I'm sure there is a lid for that kettle, just not me, and I'm sure she has 1000 big race bike/small wiener jokes that will have me

bring em on, i'm buying the pitchers.

Not sure the women's right comment is correct....
Personally I find men are better cooks, so should they stay in the kitchen?...this is meant very light hearted and not to be taken serious.

I am happy to see bikes are unisex, I am happy we all enjoy riding. I just wish she would of been in ATGATT. The statement would of been different.

I have no opinions here, just comments.

I am a better cook than my wife, I will happily take her place in the kitchen. I would starve, seriously....

Most gourmet cooks are men... Right?
I bet they could make a vaccum run on remote too.

Does this mean you expect women who ride to act like men, or accept "manly" behavior? Which, of course, assumes "manly behavior" implies being crude and insulting at times.

Being a chick, I never understood that mentality. I can't just be a chick who enjoys riding without having to turn into some burly manly type so I may be accepted into this world of riders? If that's the case, may I be never be accepted...

Maybe that's what the chick in the picture felt, and, I might add, is doing a damn good job of. If that's her thing then I'm cool with that. But if I want to hang with the fellas, I shouldn't have to become one...nor will I.

Besides, I am assuming not all of us are 18 nor trying to relive high school. Shouldn't there be some level of maturity when dealing with other people? Some level of understanding of who is "in the room". I curse like a sailor, but if I'm in the presence of someone who might be of the religious persuasion then I will respect that person and curb my practically uncontrollable desire to bomb every other word while I speak. It's just simple respect.

OK, I will stop my ****ing rant now . (no offense to those regions types).

As a girl rider....

If I am running with the big dogs I take the tail. I know my limits.

I truly believe somethings men are better at and somethings girls are.
Both have exceptions...but I don't care, I know what I can do, and I have thick skin...
I have nothing to prove to anyone but me.

Now, @csmith12 I hear you cook some good food at the track.

Some say, Kevin and I eat pretty darn good. If you would have showed up the night before your day at Mid-Ohio, you would have got some good italian beef and pork with some broccoli and a beer or long island to wash it down. hahahahah

No offence to her or anyone else, but it seems to me that you have an identity crisis when you dress like everyone else. Most all harley riders are like this for what ever reason, which escapes me, but to each their own. I will never cookie cutter my self in someone else's image of what that hobby is supposed to be, NEVER.
Gear is gear and no way to get around that.

I think you're spinning your wheels trying to discuss things rationally with immature cretins unequipped to respond in kind.

You're giving too much credit for their actual level of mental development. I know many high school students that have better manners, more insight, and empathy than many of the commenters above.

...... If you do not like what you are reading stop reading it......

We all have opinions, and forums can be fun and informative, sometimes there are discussions on sensitive subjects.
Lighten up, the real world is out there. I personally don't take forums serious unless it is a tech thread or RIP thread.

I doubt the op wanted a debate over sexiest. It was suppose to show more women at Daytona are riding, the girl in the pic just makes a bad choice in gear. The bike is custom and I bet she did a lot of the work.

This thread is going in the wrong direction.

Like many, that doesn't appear to hamper your ability to spout off anyway.

I disagree. The op has a history of posting inflammatory/troll like threads. He seems to get his kicks putting others down. He's like the kid who points out the hornet's nest to others, hands them rocks, and then enjoys the chaos that follows.

This part is false.

agreed with the above, if you don't have thick skin develop it because people in real life aren't always better and in many cases are worse. cc isn't even a troll he just enjoys a good laugh. I need to ride jennings with the guy sometime though, I've heard he's a monster on that track in addition to being a character
