2 into 1 pregen yoshi Scored
$129 later I have the pregen 2 into 1 that let's you keep the center stand (which I prefer to the kickstand). Going along with my diy ported head and pod filter, I can't wait to get on a dyno.

I just ordered it, but once I get it on, along with the new paint job and zx2r graphics I'll post some pics.

The yoshimura is so much lighter than stock which is the main reason I bought it, that and it should make better power, but idk until I dyno it. The Yosh mounts on the rear brake master cylinder which is weird, but it kept the exhaust out if the way when cornering which is a huge plus. And it sounds amazing, loud but amazing.
So far I have 38 pilots, 2.75 turns out on the mixture screws, dj114 mains (~120) and Dynoget needles 4 from the bottom 3 from the top. The jetting seems nice, I am not positive on the main yet, but I only went around the block, and I focused on the mixture screws. There is a dead spot between the pilots and mixtirescrews I'm not sure if its lean or rich, pilots or mixturescrews, but playing around in the garage I got it to act like it had slight hanging idle which makes me think lean, but it wasn't very noticeable. What do you guys with 2:1s on a pregen run?

If you have not done so, tune the pilot circuit using the idle-drop method on the mixture screws. Pilots and mixture screws are the same circuit...there is no transition between the two, therefor there cannot be a dead spot between the two. However, there can be a dead spot between the pilot circuit and the needle or needle jet.

I was running like 1 turn on 40s or 2.75 turns on 38s.

Perform the idle drop procedure with the 38's or whatever is in there and leave it.
If there is a transition hitch, raise or lower the needle.

I just wanted to add this photo, its basically the same one you shared, but I find it a little easier to read, and its a big help when figuring out jetting systems that are way off.

I can't get 40s to a point j like them, 2.5 on 38s and it has hanging idle, 2.75 a hair hanging idle and a bit boggy with the throttle, 3 and it no longer has hanging idle, but its very bogy and liked to die when given throttle at idle.
I set her to 2.5 turns out, I will take it to school and PT tomorrow, and bring a screwdriver. Hopefully I can get it figured out by the weekend and I'll put on the zx2r graphics and take some pics.

Idle drop. It's the only way to fly. Then vacuum carb sync. Double check idle drop. Then tune your off idle performance by needle position.

Get the bike warmed up and idling decently. Note the number of turns your mix screw is currently at. Screw it in until it starts to drop idle. Note number of turns. Screw it out until the idle drops. Note number of turns. Exactly in the middle is where your mix screw should be. Example: idle drops at 1.5 turns from full stop idle drops at three turns out from full stop proper mix screw position is 2.25 turns from full stop

Good thing you bought it, if I hadn't just gotten the KLR shock, and the second set of wheels for the versys, that was the next purchase, lol
