Idiots transfer states, and dmv‘s don't give a ****. But try and change it back and you will have the biggest headache ever, because every DMV employee you see all of a sudden cares.

Not sure how it works in other states, but you buy the vehicle and the title follows some time later. So most likely, the time to NOT by has passed, but the time to really, really, really insist that it be fixed is NOW.

I may have a couple of members mixed up but I presumed the OP is the person with no bike and is buying a Honda 250 (financed) from a dealer.
You are right though: get back to the dealer ASAP and sit at the managers desk and don't leave until they get it straightened out! (Figuratively, not literally). This is a first time buyer (if I'm correct) and in for a learning experience!

I doubt this has anything to do with it, but I do know that mobile homes can be financed at much lower rates than vehicles through home loans. How the Honda and Ninja got on there, no idea, but what is more weird is mention of the mobile home. Wondering if financing didn't have something to do with this.

Mobile Home Sq Ft is a box/category title, not a filled in value. Appears on every Il vehicle title as far as I know. The Make/Model issue is amusing though.
