Talking From passenger to rider

Hi all!!! I'm a new rider, will be getting my classes done early June. Can't wait!!!
I've been a passenger all my life and finally decided to get my license.
I have a 2011 Ninja 250cc. Just came back from the shop (had to get it lowered and carbs cleaned >_<) Still need to get the fender removed and I was thinking frame sliders as well. Appreciate any horror/fun/hear-my-awesomeness stories from everyone here.

Glad to be here!
My first class is 2 weeks from now.
My partner (Ninja Bob) highlyyyyy recommends that I don't start ridding before taking the class so all I can do is stare at it and drool until I get my endorsement.

It's taking everything I have to not jump on it and go. My partner took me a ride a few weeks ago and it tore me pieces. Not that it wasn't fun, I enjoyed it, but I wanna speed down the highway on my own baby.

First class is two weeks from now. I'll be done June 1st.

I am a keeper. I keep many things. I keep a dog. I keep all my pay stubs. I also keep this nifty piece of shale that I thought would make a good paper weight. But I'm not actually using it as a paper weight, so I'm just keeping it.

Welcome!! Waiting until after you've completed the course is difficult, but well worth it. This way you won't have picked up any bad habits that you'll need to unlearn.

I have some of my gear. Boots, helmet, and gloves.
I still need to get jacket and pants.
I'm really tiny so I haven't found any thing that fits.
I've tried Joe Rocket's Trixie XS jacket and it looked like I stole it from Drew Carey.

Pants are even worse. I can pull them up to my chest and they're the smallest REV'IT Gear 2 leather pants. I'm at a loss as to what to do next.

Your pain? I feel it. I, too, suffer from the small/awkwardly sized issue. It's even a problem when trying to buy non-motorcycle clothing.

Welcome OTinyOne! I'm the little one. =D

Needless to say, I have a tough time getting gear that fits too... For reference, I'm an even 5' and ~108ish lbs. when I lay off the ice cream.

Jackets: Have you looked at Alpinestars XS or size 38 jackets? It's the smallest off the rack I've ever found and amazingly, they fit me pretty well.

Pants: Like you, I spent an even longer time trying to find pants, but lucked out with a pair of new Dainese size 40 just a couple months ago. They're a bit loose at the waist, but they have some cinching velcro tabs to help. And they're still a little long for me, but the shin guards help the pants stay up above my boots. Before that, I kinda gave up and went with Z custom leathers where Adolf made me a pair that fit perfectly!

Boots: OH, I also got some Daytona boots for the streets. They give me a couple inches to work with so I can reach the ground better.

Track: Finally for the track, Dainese makes a boys suit that I was able to squeeze into.

Hope this give you hope that gear exists for us! I'll look up the exact model names for you if you'd like. Happy shopping!

I'm 5'1 and barely 90lbs. I'll look into the alpinestars jacket, that might work. Can you please me tell the name?
Not sure if size 40 pants will fit me. I like the custom idea though.
I have Joe Rocket Heartbreaker boots and those fit perfectly. They have an interior stacked wedge! Gave me a lil boost as well
Glad I'm not the only one who needs to look into the short and tiny section for gear.
